Go figure... I get back in the US, and the forum is slow now! You all are probably bundled up in blankets, and unable to use a computer because of it... cuz it's freaking cold! (Coming from where it was in the 70's during the day)

As for me, I have been working on my truck today.
Bled the brakes, and pedal holds steady. (Haven't started the engine to test how it feels with power assist).
Brake lights would stay on, so I removed the stop light switch (PITA to get to, BTW!!), and bent the bracket the switch mounts on. Checked the ohms from the switch connector, and all should be good.
Waiting for a special drill bit to come in, so I can Heli-Coil the drivers caliper slide-pin.

Ended the day messing with trying to properly key the torsion bar. Makes me wish I marked how the torsion bars were keyed before removing the control arm.

Welcome home!!!! Good to hear you got back safe!

The torsion bars could definately take a little while if you have no reference to go by.

Ya it has been slow. But let see how the weekend goes.
I'm glad I never had to mess with that switch. I can't even see it!

All I got for the truck this weekend is an oil change. I just bought a creeper. Now I can roll in and out with ease. I don't know why I never bought one they are cheep. Just ordered new seat covers. Same as my old ones, black with the Dodge logo on it.

Well, after much fussing yesterday comparing passenger side (incorrect) to drivers side (correct) torsion bars --they have these lines on either end of them, I used the drivers side as a reference-- I got it put together, and she's level(ish). I forgot how low these trucks can sit -- after all, she was raised like 4-6 inches in the air for the last year.

I still need to:
-Get a e-brake tensioner assembly (I'm not going to test-drive the truck without a working e-brake--not after replacing everything in the brake system!!)
-Waiting on that special drill bit (size "U" .3680 in) so I can repair the caliper pin bolt. Ordered from Snap-On, hopefully gets here early next week.
-Do a crude alignment, at least good enough to drive it around the block/to an alignment shop
-At least 1 of the tires leaks air at a very constant rate (I can hear it leaking), so I'll need to get that taken care of.

Obviously, need to do a through leak check (I replaced all the steering hydraulic stuff, and all the brake stuff).

The hard stuff is over, finally!!

Don't curse me!
I most likely have a PS fluid leak, and I'm still losing engine coolant.

But it's true, it is always something else.

Things happen when you least expect it. So by expecting it, it won't happen. Well in theory anyways!
