A lift key is a re indexed torsion bar key. It holds the torsion bar at a certain tension/ hight. You can crank up stock keys to get an inch or so. To get more you need a lift key. I have a set of keys on my first gen that I have been meaning to take off. I brought it back down to stock so I don't need them anymore, just haven't been motivated to go out there and take them off. If someone wants them I can get out there this week I think and take them off.
