I went to o'reilly's today for a serpentine belt with out a/c and they wanted $62 so i went to autozone online and got it for 20 isnt that messed up

 

Glad you only got a serpentine belt. I got 4 different belts on my 90 3.9. Mine probably dont cost as much as yours though.

 

o'reilly is gernerally more expensive than autozone and autozone is generally more expensive than advance auto parts. every part i priced at o'reillys was about 30$ more than advance auto parts was.

 

hmmm i will keep that in mind

 

Thats why I love the Advance around here. Cheaper and I'm cool with every worker there. Even the one who messes around saying bad stuff about my truck and talking up his F-150 (which is kinda nice) haha.

 

the guys at the one i go to let me go in the back and pick my own parts out..lol then they talk about a person they raced the other night.

 

haha they dont let me do that but they always acknowledge me right when I walk in and they always ask how the trucks running. Even if I'm in there buying a major part lol.

 

They will all price match so you can call around to all of them and go to the store of your choice and get your parts.

 

Ya they do. Checkers used to match the price and beat it by 10%, they all changed to O'Reilly.

I prefer Napa for quality parts. But for simple stuff Autozone. They have the rewards where you get $20 free when you spend 5 $20. Once somehow the system screwed up and I got the $20 credit 5 times. $100 free, heck ya!!

 

i used to do that but i stopped going there after my last ex gf.
i like napa because a lot of parts the other guys don't have they will but the people who work at the one i go to are kinda snappy so i don't really go there as much. the las ttime i was in there was for my flywheel and my grandpa walked in o get a part for his 49' chevy 3100
