blinker bug

Default blinker bug

my 96's left blinker will not flash it will turn on but not blink so i have to pull it up and down manualy but when i turn the break down lights on they will both flash but not the blinker for left only how can i fiix this

Sounds like either your front or rear left bulb is burned out. On some vehicles, they blink faster when a bulb goes, but on these trucks they don't blink, they just stay on.

lol my roadmaster did the same thing...changed the bulbs and worked like new after that...

mine actually shorted out on the left side...for a while there when i'd turn the left blinker on it would alternate between the left and right one and i'd have people honkin at me while enjoying a light show...i went over the wires and found corrosion in the terminals, now the left driving light doesn't come on at all but my turn signals work...

i would suggest checking the sockets on the left side of the truck, if the bulbs arn't burnt out.

If the bulbs don't fix it, and the connections are clean. Check the flasher it's self.

lol i checked the flasher first and found a black box labled buzzer i hate that thing so much so i pulled it and turned that seatbelt buzzer off i will check my bulbs when i have some light

LOL! Apparently the previous owner of my truck hated that thing too cause mine never had one :P

Isn't it easier to check to see if a light bulb is on when its dark out

point there but at midnight all i wanted was sleep and i fixed it now it was the rear
