Default Hockey Puck Lift

havnt seen a thread on this yet, if i where to do this, only around 2 inches, what mods would i have to do to make it work. and what is your gays opinions on this

Unless you have the hockey pucks laying around already or can get them for dirt cheap (less than $1 a peice), its a waste of time! You'd need 16 pucks to make the lift, plus bolts, a drill bit and metal for any extensions. By the time you pay for materials and spend the time to drill out all the pucks, etc, you may as well just buy the body lift kit for our trucks. I got mine on ebay for $75.

how big of a lift did you get and what type?

if i were to swap leaf springs from a ram, would i be able to get any lift out of that, or could i take apart a set of springs and add them on to mine, my head started runnin and im thinkin which can be bad at times

I got the performance accessories 2 inch body lift.

And yes... Crazy4x4RT has Ram 2500 springs under his truck.

Ya what he said! Hockey pucks are not worth it.

Only with the shift selector at the transmission. And with the rad hoses that I can think of.

I heard that you wont need to much of nothing except relocate the fan shroud down to accommodate the lift, and that all the hoses should have enough slack in them to move that far. The shifters should just recess down into the floor and become shorter. I dont know for sure but I think that is what I heard before. You can drill holes in the existing bumper brackets to relocate them.
