havnt seen a thread on this yet, if i where to do this, only around 2 inches, what mods would i have to do to make it work. and what is your gays opinions on this
Unless you have the hockey pucks laying around already or can get them for dirt cheap (less than $1 a peice), its a waste of time! You'd need 16 pucks to make the lift, plus bolts, a drill bit and metal for any extensions. By the time you pay for materials and spend the time to drill out all the pucks, etc, you may as well just buy the body lift kit for our trucks. I got mine on ebay for $75.
if i were to swap leaf springs from a ram, would i be able to get any lift out of that, or could i take apart a set of springs and add them on to mine, my head started runnin and im thinkin which can be bad at times
I heard that you wont need to much of nothing except relocate the fan shroud down to accommodate the lift, and that all the hoses should have enough slack in them to move that far. The shifters should just recess down into the floor and become shorter. I dont know for sure but I think that is what I heard before. You can drill holes in the existing bumper brackets to relocate them.
