Default monday stroll gone wrong

well i was ridin around the sand pits here, and found a small hole. it was deeper than i thought, and when i tried to push through it, my rear diff got hung up and my front end burried under some mud.

we get the truck out and everything seems fine. but my oil pressure seems to be a little outta wack. i just replaced the pump and switch a few weeks ago. the pressure was fine before the sink hole and now it is low. its still in range but its lower than usual. there is no sign of water in the oil.

anybody have any kind of help.

I've noticed whenever I brake hard my oil pressure drops - maybe because the oil is being slammed up against the front wall away from the gauge?

It will then level out again later.

u think it could be the oil weight? i have 20-50 in it right now. u think if i switched to 10-40 or 10-30 it would fix it?

I prefer 10-40 these days - mainly because my engine is older.

Yeah, it is. But you are supposed to go up in weight as the milage increases to compensate for engine wear.

You could always do a 50/50 mix.
