Why cant i get the torque converter inspection plate out. its loose will move around, a little bit. but it wont come out. any help. its a 1992 dodge dakota v8 magnum, auto tranny. i need it out of the way so i can grab the bolts for the torque converter and get it the hell out.

When I did my motor swap that was one of the more difficult parts to get out and get back in. If I remember right, I got those two bolts from the top, but it was like an 1/8" turn at a time!

For the TC dust cover I believe the starter has to be removed. As for the top transmission bolts a ratchet wrench does the trick.

I do believe that the converter bolt and the plate only line up one way. So make sure you mark the 2 for easy installation later.

Just makes it easier to reinstall to line the holes back up. Cause you'll put a bolt on and turn it to the next hole. Then realize they don't line up.

^ yup. The only problem you now have is it will take longer to put back in. The flex plate can only bolt to the torque converter one way, so you could get 2 or 3 bolts in and have to start over because its not oriented right.
