Default Shock removal?

I went to take replace my shocks a couple weeks ago and the top bolt on it was a PITA, had to cut the bolt. Then I went to do the bottom 2 and the heads on those bolts snapped off. So my dad drilled one out and were going to to do the same to the other one someday... but anyone have any advice for when I go to do the passenger side one? because its very annoying bouncing up and down like i have hydrolics. I dont want to have the drop the entire thing to take the coil off (more rusted stubborn bolts to break)

Penetrating oil and heat. Spray them down everyday for about a week before you try and take them out then heat them up and let them cool a couple times before you take them out.

^ Yeah, what he said. Keep penetrating oil on them for several days and torch the crap out of them. But if its a bolt, heat up the area around the bolt, not the bolt. If you heat up the bolt, the bolt will expand and it will be even harder to get it out. If its a nut, heat up the nut, not the bolt.

Rap the head of the bolt with a hammer a few times.

uses some golf-wax heat with a torch and then use the wax, its like sweating pipes, the wax gets "wicked" into the threads and helps lube them.

i used pb blaster everyday for about a week till i actually got the motivation to change them. i took a 4 1/2in angle grinder to the top bolts on the front shocks and the bottom bolts came out really easy. 1 thing i would suggest is once you get the bottom bolts out, clean the threads up with a wire brush and some cleaner( i used brakeleen).

Pb is what I usually use. I think Im going to go buy some new bolts, depending on how all of this turns out. But if not, I have a wire wheel which is nice but also sucks when you go in at night and pull long wires out of your arm

Quickest way is the grinder on the top bolts...maybe a bud has one you can borrow.
