Name That Part!!!!
So this is taken from the drivers side of the engine, looking down at the steering linkage. The lines going up/right are pointing towards the steering wheel, and the other lines represent the direction of the gearbox/steering rack.
So the big question...
what's that part called that's circled?
it's like a U-joint but i can't find where I would buy it/who would have it

It is part of the steering shaft. You can not buy it separately. You may be able to get from your local dealer or these OEM sites. But most likely they will be out or way to high. Used will be your best bet. Your local junkyard or www.ebay.com or www.craigslist.org

The linkage should be held in with a bolt on each end. (Meaning, a total of 2 bolts, 1 by the gearbox, the other by the firewall)
Pulling that part on my 4WD is easy.

Well 94-up had the bolts. 93-down had pins. So you have pins. Here is a pic from the 95 manual. Where the bolts are you have pins see the red arrows.
To remove the pins use a hammer and punch. It can be stubborn! A air hammer with a point tip will make easy work of it.
Your going to want to find a similar truck, ie a 93-down 4wd. The newer years with the bolts have a shorter steering column hookup where the splines are.

Here is your pic with the blue arrows pointing at your pin.

Here is copy and paste from the service manual. Remember you got pins not bolts.
INTERMEDIATE COUPLER SHAFT
REMOVAL
The new easy slide shaft does not pull—apart at
the center. Shaft is a single assembly that collapses
for removal and installation.
(1) Place the front wheels in the straight ahead position.
(2) Remove the bolt at the steering gear and column
(Fig. 36).
(3) Collapse the intermediate shaft to remove
