Default Spark Plug Heat Shields of doom!!!! (halp)

Hi forum,

SO, We have been working on the heat shield removal for this plug....AND it's not going as swimmingly as hoped. Pics below....

So as you can see the shield is jacked and dominated. I have been using some PB on it for the time being trying to break things up. Lemme know what you all think I should do to get this dang thing out!
I am thinking about removing all of them at one time or another when I do plugs all around.

Thanks forum!

Use Vicegrips, channel locks. Just so you know it is best to keep them on. By removing them you expose the plugs and wires to more heat. To much heat will kill/melt plugs and wires.

Heat that up a butane torch and twist&rock it out of there. Candle wax will Knock any bolt loose, when the heat expanse it, the wax is sucked in around the threads

Got the oil changed in the truck today. still can't get the blingin heat shield off to get the spark plug out. the plug itself was chipped/cracked while working on this which isn't good. We did reconnect the boot and start the truck briefly and it runs, just bad probably cuz of that plug.

Headache. this thing does not want to budge. I've tried penetrating oil, hose clamps, vise grips, channel locks, hammer, etc to no avail. finished for the day since i work in the early morning tomorrow but after i get out i'll be back at it hopefully. is a pita.

thx!

Use a long screw driver and hit it with a hammer to get in between the header and the heat shield.
