How hard is it to to replace drum brakes?

I really appreciate all the advice. I'll be picking up a set of spring pliers tomorrow and I'll update this thread after I get done.

So it turns out the shoes were fine, I just replaced the drums and adjusted them a bit, brakes like new! That was easy.

It's not hard to change them at all, I changed mine this past spring.
The only problem I had was with the springs, there very tough to pull but I managed.
