1993 Dodge Dakota with no fire

Angry 1993 Dodge Dakota with no fire

new to this peps so bear with me.
v6 manual 4x4, no fire, checked all splices, all fuses, rx cam and crank sensors, distributor and wires. ASR is getting power, no votage going to map and tbs. No voltage at coil. had 3 volts at map and tbs ran for about 30secs and stopped, no fire anywhere needed. Checked all wires in harnesses and all good. HELP

New to dodge trucks does alternator affect power at coil

No I don't think it does. At least not in that way. And I thought I was the only one who had this kind of problem with my Dakota. Look, mine was doing some similar stuff, I pulled my hair out trying to figure out what the problem was, I replaced probably every sensor and ignition component under the hood with no success. Finally, I replaced the PCM. It turned out that is what the problem was. Sounds like what your trucks problem is, too.

(lol I just gave the same advice to someone else in a differant thread in this section)

It was the computer, replaced and it worked fine, got it home the next day would not start. Had power to all the places that i did not have the first time it would not start, the coil would only produce spark sometimes, changed coil and it has ran fine for the past several weeks.
So I had a bad computer, and a coil that was going out.
All is good now.
