Can my day be any worse
Well just come back from Virginia (650 miles round trip got killer mileage to) last night, parked my 1st Gen 96 2.5 Sport. Went out today to do some runnin around and I get 1/2 from my house and the truck completely dies. No CEL light, nothing, turn the key I hear the fuel pump turning on. Can't really do to much while I'm sitting here waiting for the wrecker to show up. Wasn't blowin any smoke nothin, I mean she was runnin mint for once in her life. So I figured id hop on my phone and do a post. Checked all the fuses while I've been waiting, all the relays. So now I gotta wait til the wrecker comes so I can tow it to work and do some more tests on it. Like check for spark, make sure its getting fuel and all that god stuff. Ill keep ya'll posted and let you know what I find. I'm just hopin its a easy fix I was hoping to go to the shooting range today and take some aggression out.

Haha I had a bad dakota day today too, coming back from picking up my new dirtbike, I got caught in a hell of a thunderstorm. Windshield wipers flying I was barely able to see anything, then the driver side blade completely flew off!
My head is sticking out the window and I am creeping through this gale, and all of a sudden the truck starts to studder and lurch, loses power, etc. I get out and the fuel pump is screaming like a skinned cat. It took forever to get it started again but we limped home, and now I am waiting on a new fuel pump from ebay. Major bummer.
At least I got home, but yeah today was not a good day for either of us.

Well it was a really easy fix, thank god I didn't have to pay anything for the tow, just royally ticked me off. The rotor dismembered itself, pulled the cap off to find the rotor in 3 pieces, popped a new rotor in, she was hesitent at first because of all the fuel dumped in, held the gas for a couple seconds and she mellowed right out. Just ticked me off when that happened, oh well shooting range will have to wait for another day lol
