Well I think I'm gonna put the racing strips on the rear of the bed, on the sides. I think it would break up the "look" of the trucks bed bein' long n all...

I don't mean to hi-jack the thread, but since it has been dead for a while I wanted to ask about doing the opposite: going from short bed to long without modifying the frame. Is there a way to do it? Thanks!

Should probably open your own thread on this. However re-reading this thread talks about short bed and long bed frames having different wheel base.
