was NOT expecting that...
did the 2 inch body lift which was an easy install. I was surprised that I didn't need to modify anything and the manual shifter even came to a better height... That being said I did a good amount of research before i started and knew what to look out for. Must have missed something because i didn't notice that my fan runs right into the radiator/lower hose... long story short; truck finally heated up enough to pop a hole in the slice that the non-turning has been rubbing against.
odd thing is the new hose looks different than the old one.. need to cut to fit, but the twist even looks different.. factory one is "S" like and the new one is more like an "L".
anybody else come across this on the 5.2 4x4???

this is what i mean by the fan hitting the radiator

it literally hits the lower pipe..

and these are the 2 lower hoses..
even after some cutting the old one still looks nothing like the new one

it's not hitting the suto cooler... the fan smacks directly into the coolent hose... by like an inch easily.
i didn't see anybody else having this issue with the body lift. that and the fact that the "factory molded" replacment hose was so different makes me think something is different about mine... maybe the wrong radiator???

Maybe it is not a factory style radiator. Go to www.Autozone.com and check the pic of one listed for yours.
