Ya'll love the pics so here are some more. Feel free to bash, comment, and ridicule.

The three wires tagged are the only important "cut" one's.

I rerouted the ignition to the side for cooling reasons.
The loom is looking complicated, but better than dangly wires.

Radiator clearance. It is a generic 4 row aluminum type for automatic trannies.

For the ones that said the engine was tiny, a full shot. Note the lack of ancillaries.

Stock exhaust muffler. I am going with a Dual in/out magnaflow 22", 2 1/2" pipes.

Wiring:

Grey and grey with yellow is for the oil pressure gauge. The transmission keyed ignition wire was taken from either the a/c keyed, or the ecu keyed. Orange with white is the temp gauge. The 2 larger blue are generic keyed bat lines.

I always hated insensitive people.... We'll never get out alive philisophically speaking.

Engine is running with oil pressure (obviously), but my coolant has cycled through and I need to get another gallon to post up a running movie. A little low budget today though. I am dialing in the timing, but I do not have a vac gauge to confirm everything. So I will post a short run clip. The smoke is the manifold paint burning off, and is choking up the area pretty bad.

Edit: Timing not set, idle not adjusted FYI.

you hate insensitive people? somebody being insensitive to you? you invited comment in post 62....then ask a mod to delete my post, without explanation.....you hate yourself?

but thanks for posting all this info, it will save me some work..

I am going a different direction in a few areas, like motor mounts. But I will start my own post, wouldn't want to rain on your parade....

Nope, you got the wrong guy. I did however have a different thread that ended with a statement that basically read "Do not post in this thread until Monday", to which a few people felt it did not apply to them. I have no problem with anyone making a positive contribution to a thread, but when I am trying to provide a unique thread for people that are looking for relevant info, then, I have issues when someone fouls it intentionally. Nuff said about that.
No problem, that is why I posted it. I found that there is not alot of info on the Magnum style engine being retrofitted (debatable), and the associated electronics from the earlier ignition setups. I grew up with carbs, but I respect the EFI as it is a natural evolution to engine management. The idea behind this build was: simplicity, respectability, and uniqueness. I also really like smaller trucks more than cars, and this gave me an opportunity to apply the rebuild to a chassis that is affordable.

Yeah, the "engine" mounts are up to the fabricator. The older Ram mounts have been used to push the block back a little, but I am no welder, so I went the lazy way and saved myself the issue with the driveshaft.
