4x4 inop after head gasket replacement! 4x4 engaged lights also inop!

Worked fine before head gasket, any ideas? Does vacuum have anything to do with 4x4? 1985 model

If your truck is like my 91,vacuum has EVERYTHING to do with 4X4.You should have a vacuum line down to the switch on the transfer case.Look to see if you got all the vacuum lines in the right place.

I'm assuming you have a Ram and not a Dakota. Due to no 85 Dakota and your vehicle bar says a 85 D 150. You are in the Dakota section. 80's did have vacuum operated CAD and Auto-hubs. So it is possible you didn't put back on a line or put it in the wrong spot.
