If the Ram with the cable is the same around the same year as yours it will work. I have a 94 Rams cable. Yes the transfer case is the same. If I remember right 95-up Rams and Dakotas came with a higher spline count on the rear slip yoke. So you should be okay.
just found out the nv3500 is from a diesel truck, will this work for me?
correct me if i'm wrong but i believe the nv4500 came behind a diesel which requires a 2in body lift(or reshaping of the transtunnel)...
when you get another transmission i would suggest spring for a v8 clutch too. i have a v6 clutch on mine and it lasted a month then everything went to hell and back with it.
and the nv3500 came in a 95+ dodge ram v6 and v8(i got mine from a 96 v6 ram)and 94+ dakota v8
Yeah there was a miscommunication between myself and the seller. Turns out his truck is a diesel and he is parting out a gas ram. So looks like i'll grab it. Now anyone selling a transfercase lol.
