I don't remember what engine you got but I would say it isn't worth it. Why do you wan to convert anyways? The EFI will get best MPG and best HP and TQ numbers.

Why? You have nothing to gain by doing so.

plus, if you do the fuel injection to carb conversion, you'll need to have a fuel pressure regulator in line from the tank to the engine. It'll have to be lowered down to around 4-5 PSI because stock magnum engines make 39 PSI from the fuel pump, which will flood a carb the second you turn the key on. Also, magnum engines don't have a slot in the engine to hook up a mechanical fuel pump to the engine.

They are correct. I am actively doing this conversion (3.9l TBI to 5.9l Carb), but it is something that "I am doing" and wouldn't recommend it just for the sake of not having a computer. The ECU is better unless you have a goal, and then it (the ECU) is better for power adders later. I am deleting the ECU because I am a little older than most and am more comfortable with them. I do not, however mind changing the sensors and such, but I am a nitrous guy, and I wanted a little old school for my truck.
