new here havin issue with sending unit

not sure what you mean by continuity check. i try to stay from electrical stuff lol

Checking for resistance in the circuit. Since the sending unit measures resistance (so no voltage is used to cause a fire), you should check the actual line between the sending unit and the gauge. Use an ohmmeter. It is comsidered a basic check and would be done prior to changing the sending unit. Know any friends with a multimeter?
