Default Body Lifts,Add A leaf!!

yeah hi guys i have a 92 dak 4x4 ext cab 5.2 and ive already turned my stock torsion bars about as much as i could but i still want alittle more of lift cause i want to get 31" tires im already planning on get the reindexed keys but im not to sure what to do for the rear. right now it sits level and i dont know whether i should just use blocks or add a leafs. i want like 1-2 inches if you guys can help it would be appreciated.

right now i only have 29"

this pic was taken before i cranked my stock keys so it is now level with the rear.

Ya I would suggest the keys and Add A Leafs. The blocks are a cheaters way. You should also add in a 2in body lift, very cheep and easy to install. Check the FAQ2 for tons of lift ideas and links to parts.

My 95 and my buddies 93 both fit 31s without doing anything to the trucks. Mine only rubs VERY little on hard turns in reverse or sometimes if I hit a big bump..but I need probably need new shocks and everything and my tires have big tread. So I think you would be good just from what you have done with MAYBE a lil rubbing, if that. But I'd still do everything you wanted just cause it'll help and look better. Oh and your truck is just like my buddies..even down to the paint chipping lol.

Honestly, I think the cheapest and easiest way to get the lil bit of lift you want is to just do the body lift..and maybe some rims with enough backspace to help not rub on full turns or in 4wd. Like I said, I have 31s and so did my buddy and we had pretty much no rubbing at all without tweaking or adding anything. Then he did the body lift and was totally good with no rubbing or anything. And a body lift does exactly what it sounds like lol..just lifts the cab and bed off the frame by 2 inches with tough *** spacers haha.
