Default Now the good news!

The snow event yesterday gave me the chance to test both the 89 and the 94. transfer cases worked flawlessly. Took the 89 to town from this old farm and was very happy. Little truck is so perfectly weighted I was going up hills in 2 wheel, others were spinning. Went down a hill that was terrible and the walley world wranglers performed flawlessly. On the way back home, 8 miles of hills and vales wih bad slide spots, tricky turns sloped wrong, and a large creek on the right that usually gets at least two idiots in it. Truck did great! LOL idiot behind me paid no attention to the **** off bumper sticker. As we went down a bad hill I watched his lights slide left then right then back under control. That sure stopped the tailgating. Mrs Newbie, all five foot of her was warm comfy and vowed she was going to buy a 10 million candle power spot light to blind azzzhole tailgaters. Hey at least ive persuaded her shotin em aint good.

lol sounds good! but hey man..if youre talkin the wal mart wrangler authorities and not just the normal ones then you shouldnt be puttin em down lol. ive got 31inch authorities on my truck and i get so many compliments and can make it through tons of stuff with them..and only in 2wd too haha. plus..its been a year since ive had em and no problems..no noticeable treadwear after plenty of street..mud..and snow..and the occasional burnout lol. theyre pretty nice tires if you ask me.

Nice! Post up some pics!

It snowed all day, but nothing ever sticks. It just melts before it hits the ground.

Sounds like you & Mrs. Newbie had a good day and what a thumbs up for the wally world tires. Maybe Mrs. N's idea of a bright spot light is not a bad idea.

Sweet!Ain't it great when you get that perfect combo of truck and tire dialed in?.

As for tailgaters,I saw a bumper sticker that read"Any closer and I'll flick a booger on your windshield!".That gave me the idea of a small air cannon mounted to the back of the vehicle that shoots a small blob of that green slime they used to sell in the toy stores. That, combined with the bumper sticker, should keep them nasty no-goodniks off the back bumper.

(Where do I come up with this stuff!?)

My favorite idea is an oil spray on the road, kinda like sanders on a school buss but at the rear of our trucks. Maby even a camera to record the slidin and slippin. Second idea is a fogger on the truck that sprays gallons of black paint on their headlights and windshield.

I usually "accidentally" swerve into the gravel on the side of the road to slow down idiots behind me. Last one was a brand new BMW haha! I warned him with a couple brake tests but the idiot kept on.

Speaking of idiots, I have a sharp turn at the end of my street and I often see ppl slide into the barrier. Last night a import was hauling and slid into the barrier and smashed up the front end. Then he got mad, threw it into reverse and smashed the rear into the other barrier on the corner. wow stupid or what!

I might have to start a thread with video of idiots plowing into my street corner hahaha!

i had a chance to check myne out this week aswell and with old dry rotted take off wranglers i picked up at work i couldn't belive how well it did. i could go anywhere i wanted with no probs IN 2WD. just for fun i kept it in 4hi so i didn't have the slight fish tail if i got to heavy on it. the truck is just absalutly the best 4x4 i've ever driven for the snow and ice. all i can say is omg.

and for tailgators i like the gravel idea (may have done it myself a time or 2 )
i find more prob with the lil ricers that attempt to mess with me and try to get me to race. i usually do nothing unless they are blocking my exit. then i bust it so i can go on home and embarass them with their girlfriends in the car
if it can't run then don't bother.
