Default '95 Dodge Dakota high/low beam issues

I am looking at my cousins '95 Dakota. The low beams will not come on. All other lights work fine. I have looked for the headlight fuse but cannot find one. I have checked every fuse on the truck (both fuse boxes) and all are good. Can anybody help? I'm not the most experienced mechanic and once it gets down to the rough stuff I turn things over to the more experienced people.

Welcome to the forum.

There can be a few possibilities. Do your high beams work and does the tail lights work?

1. Check to see if power exists at both light sockets with a volt meter .
2. Check harness which connects to the firewall (many wires run into this harness which include headlight wiring)
3. Check wiring from lights to firewall for breaks
4. Headlight switch may be wore out. Check the switch

Thats a good start, more checks may need to be made...
