Exclamation Transmission Throttle Valve Cable

I broke the damn connector! Anyone know where to get replacement? Going to look the part number up, if there is one, and search around.

THANKS.

I broke mine too. I was able to rig it using two zip ties. I looked online for a replacement and couldn't find one. Prolly have to do a bone yard trip.

Yeah it's looking that way, none at mopar, rock auto, advance, napa anywhere! Auto Zone had a performance kickdown cable for 89 though I was adjusting it so it would get rid of the late shift from 1st to 2nd.

I would imagine that any kickdown cable from a 318-360/46rh-e combo would work. Might take the old one with you to compare. Would give much more access than searching for dakota only.

True true, I just superglued it together for right now, adjusted it just about right. Hopefully it'll hold for awhile.

your never gunna find anything locally when it comes to these trucks. they are all too old so most local parts stores wont even carry for this generation anymore. most of the small things like that will have to be ordered online. i know i cant find any of the small things for mine where i am.

and jnjinfla, we have the same truck haha, except mines a v6 and mines only 2wd and 2 years older, k, so maybe we only have the same paint job lol

I just ordered the 48907 GM clip for my 2nd Gen Dakota - I'll post a comment when it comes as to if it works or not. Age and heat isn't kind to the factory clip!
