On my 89 484 I have a clunk that I can't figurout. I replaced all balljoints tierods pitman arm idler arm and upper controll arm bushings and also shockes it didn't get anybetter
Something is bad or broken. Only you can find it, since we can't see it. Get under the truck and move thing around. If you have to take it to a shop that does free test drives, and see what they think.
It will only do it when I am reversing and turining the wheel at the same time, frame has zero rust and no cracks cv shafts are nolonger in at so I will have to check the lower controll arm bushings
If your CV's are not in it the wheel will fall off. The hub needs the spindle and nut in to hold it self together. You could of removed only the ends to keep it together.
But without CV's my guess is you wheel bearings/whee hubs are falling apart.
