Default HELP! Motor mount

Anybody that has a 93 with the 318 v8 could you please look at your motor mount brackets that are welded to the frame. After trying to line everything up I am seeing that the bracket on the passenger side looks like it is twisted about 1/2"toward the back of the truck as compared to the driver side appears to be straight across to the passenger side.

Please advise if yours appear to both be straight or if the passenger side looks bent?

Actually, the passenger side one looks somewhat like it. The ears that stick out frome the frame with just the one bolt going through. They are what appears to be bent on mine. Anybody able to confirm?

Developing problem seems to be that I can't get all mounts to line up(motor mounts, transmission mount) I connected motor and trans outside the truck and dropped in. If I mount the motor up first the trans mount bolts do not line up with crossmember holes. If I bolt down trans first, the motor mounts dont line up.

I am wondering now if I may have twisted the whole engine/trans assembly or possibly the frame got twisted? Any thoughts would help.

Also, is it possible that when mounting up engine/trans to slide together one spline off of correct and would that torque the drive train? It looks as if my transmission is twisted about 1/8-3/16" as it comes to rest on the crossmember/transmount, with the passenger side touching first.

Not sure if this is helpful, but....

When I was changing my setup out, I had problems lining up the three mounts. I had to raise the tranny to get the engine mounts to set correctly, then I had to pump the tranny up to install the crossmember. It would shift side to side (the tranny) until I set the crossmember.

Have tried that, the issues seem more complex than just an angle up or down, seems there is also an anlge left and right issue as well as the twisted or torqued issue.
