Default 89 v8 project stalled, need help

I think I am in the ball park for fore and aft....if the sway bar is supposed to be a bit behind the crank dampener as shown in the pic.....

But when I look at the exhaust cutout in the frame, it won't match the passenger side Y pipe. That could be normal, probably is, since the magnum exaust manifold wasn't meant for this car.....

Not sure about left right, is there an offset to the passenger side? If so, how much?

and I have no way of knowing how much off I am up and down. If I had started with a v6 instead of a 4 banger, this would have been a lot easier...

Any of you guys with Gen1 V8 dakotas want to compare my pics with your truck?

The exhaust cutout (from my perspective) is indeed limiting to the swap. I am using a doughnut seal between my manifolds and exhaust to get a few degree's of bias. I also, am using 2 1/2" tubing which is uncomfortably close, but no knocking/tapping yet. As I mentioned via e-mail, I will post up number for you using stock mounts, and put them here for reference.

Here are a few for reference. The two that look down are centered directly above the edge of the manifolds. If you need numbers I can walk out and get them.

exhaust manifolds? large or after 1993 small?

I can see that my engine is too low and not far enough to passenger side...

These are the larger ones from a 92'. Here are the pics we discussed.

The height as seen level from the frame. Note the drain plug on the block.

The front distance square from the pass side. Note the lack of angle on the front of block. EDIT: I may be a little forward, referencing the cylinder head.

thanks a lot.....
I can measure for the steel plates now....

edit to add....I really suck at pattern/template making, 3 hours and a whole big cardboard box for just the drivers side mount.....

Chalk it up as experience on the job. I know its not as cost effective as cardboard, but using polycarbonate sheeting can be cut with typical tools and is extremely rigid comparatively. Please show your mounts when completed.
