LA 360 swap help
Mine will be a very basic "town" truck, no power steering, no AC, just a balanced 330HP LA360 with Magnum heads and 92-93 exhaust manifolds, 3" single exhaust, 727 with floor mounted cable shifter and cable kickdown , 3.55 suregrip.....and a 125mph speedometer....
The dirty engine shown in the chassis now is a Magnum engine, using it for the mockup to make sure everything fits.
If I use the Magnum exhaust manifolds, it is a tight fit from Y pipe to passenger side frame, so I have moved the engine towards the drivers side about a half inch or so....
But I am thinking about headers....and dual exhausts. That means a new gas tank where the spare tire goes....
That's the plan....

2 smaller pipes parallel would certainly go over the tranny Xmember easier than the 3" pipe I have now....
Then come back together in a dual inlet cat, with a big outlet to a big muffler, or go true duals all the way back on the passenger side. there....
I already have the dual inlet cat and a fat muffler....
