So I just found tons of photos that I have taken of my truck and the pictures from the front end overhaul are in here as well. Looking over them I was wondering... Is it possible to put them in wrong? Here are 2 pictures before they went in.

This is a photo before i tightened the bolt. Keep in mind the whole time the truck had jack stands under the frame and no wheels on the front.

Do you have a measurement from the ground to the bottom of the fender wells as well as what size tires you are running? To try to get a ball park of how high you went with the front end. Maybe that will help diagnose. Also, Did you tighten the keys ALL the way?

Stance looks good. might just be the camera angle, but front does look higher than the back, right?

I have 31 X 9.5 x 15s. It had them before I bought the truck and I have never had any problems with rubbing or anything. I tightened the keys until there was about a finger space left above them (half inch?) Which was what the stock keys were at. The truck is not completely level left to right (about a half inch off, in the front and back) But the front of the truck is pretty close to the same height as the back. Maybe a half inch difference. I did not have time to properly level it since the axle problem.

Those are 31" tires? Must be the lift that makes them look smaller.

Looks like you went up about 3" on passenger side and about 3.5" on the drivers, right?

Yes, just shy of 3" on passenger and just a bit more then 3.5" on drivers. That may have been my problem but when I had it jacked up with stands under the frame I still got something catching. I might go take a look right now actually

put it on jack stands under the a arms so the wheels sit at ride height

When you lift from the frame, the tires drop like 6". and should not bind there either, which is why I dont get why they bind at only 3" lift.

Also, the angle of the tires change when lifted this way, right? allignment might not be a bad idea after you get it figured out.

Yea I will for sure put the stands under the arms. Once I think I have it figured out I will probably let them drop and make sure they are still good since if I am off roading I don't need them binding if i get hung up either.
I got an alignment last time after I put it back down but I don't think they did a very good job and I have been wanting to get another one anyways (steering wheel is a bit off center)

you didnt need a clamp or anything to install them did you? just back the old ones out and bolt the new ones in, right?

No I did not need any clamp. All the pressure was off by the time the bolt came out. I was still super careful though. So it just got super dark super fast so working on the street is not a very good option right now. I went and took a few pictures though.

The axle looks pretty straight, but I spy with my little eye a missing bump stop possibly?
Any one have pictures of the bump stops for the upper control arm?
I do not see one on either side so I am not sure if there is supposed to be one there or not

Are those measurments once the truck was dropped back down in the front?
Mine sits at ~37" in the back with just coil overs, and 34.5" in the front stock, on 31"s.
