3.9l '95 dakota ignition timing jumpy and severely ritarded
sounds like the same issue i have.
My dakota has no rust and a new trans and i cant give up on it but im about to. I replaced the entire ignition system. Coil rotor cap plugs wires both coolant temp sensors IAC sensor throttle body. Gunna try for the o2 sensor maybe my motor is being choked by itself? I gave it a voltmeter and got 3.7 volts and I'm pretty sure o2 sensors are supposed to be standard at like 5 volts. After that I'll try the crank position sensor and if that doesnt work. I'm buying a new engine because there is no other component I can check
