Default How to keep overdrive on

my overdrive turns off every time i turn the car off i have to press it every time i start it

The Overdrive is always in ON mode, the switch turns the OD off. So by pressing the switch you are turning OFF the OD. Don't press the switch it is there if your towing heavy loads which you would not want OD engaged.

so when the OD light is on by the switch its actually off

Sorry to side track.

I know this is a random question but I've been searching to find out what the bulb is in the OD switch. I know my switch works, but the bulb died. I figured I'd ask first before I pull the dash cover, find out the part, put it back together and go get the part, rinse repeat.

If it's unknown I'll just pull and look, and I'll be sure to note the part for anyone else on here...
