Default CPU temperature sensor pigtail?

Finally had climate to change CPU temp sensor. Pigtail is shot, wires going into it green with corrosion and when i tried to take it off the plastic crumbled in my fingers like maby it had been baked or something. I read the part is ot manufactured anymore( pigtail). Any Suggestions other than Junk yard? Any one have a good one out there that wants to sell it?

Just get simple connectors from Radioshack or Walmart if wanted seal the connectors in RTV after you plug them in to keep it secure. Radioshack as well as several auto parts stores sells universal plugs, see if one will work, take your new sensor to try them out.

Used will be the next best choice, the sensor is the same on Rams, Dakotas, Vans, Durangos, Jeep GC.

It gives the CPU a reading, different sensor than guage. If CPU doesn't see proper reading it causes hard starts in cold weather. It is located in the front of engine behind water inlet for the 318, very hard to see. I removed serpintine removed the four bolts that hold the A/C compressor for access. Temperature guage sensor is about the same area but toward the passenger side just a little, easy to see.
