well i bought a set of rims today unfortunetly they werent the 16s that i originally wanted i got the 15s and im goin with the regular 31x10.5 i figured the 15s would be better because i plan on doing mostly beach driving and the smaller rim gives me more room to air down and have a wider foot print

16's will still give you great side wall flex. It is only .5in larger on each side. Go for it if you like the style and you can get 16in tires for a good price. Some 2nd Gen 16in rims rubbed on the bajo bolt when installing on a 1st Gen. Just grind the head of the bolt just a tad to clear it.

265/75R16 is equivalent to 31x10.50.Some genuinely good and utilitarian data on this web site, also I believe the style and style holds good capabilities
