thanks crazy, I'll scan it tomorrow. Do you think it will narrow it down further than just a code 27? Thanks !!

have not erased the codes, just tried to reset the computer (disco the battery 2-10 min or so) worked when we reset the MAP sensor (accidentally left it unplugged when changing out injectors), but 27 still appears

Have you checked fuel pressure yet? Just read where someone had the same code being thrown because the pump couldn't keep up with the fuel demand. Just another place to look.

yeah, fuel pressure is good. I forget what it read, but it sustained at a normal pressure as listed... I don't have the connector for that OBDI connector, but I'll see if schucks/o'reillys/autozone could scan it for me. I'll post back the results once I get them.

got it scanned, injector #5.. going to re-wire that straight to the computer. Anyone have the ohm layouts for the injectors handy? Hopefully this will be solved soon!

The service manual will have the OHM specs, you can download it in the FAQ.

Okay, getting 15 on number 5. the rest read between 21 and 23.. re did the wiring from the computer, still get 15 on injector 5... Arrrg.. I know its not the computer because this is the second one with the same code 27... is there anything else to do which would cause injector 5 being 15??

Maybe it is bad. Try swapping that specific one on to anther spot on the rail. Reset the codes and get it read again and see if the cylinder number with the bad injector reads #5 again or if it moved with the bad injector.
