Default Where is the plug for the odb scanner?

I have a 94 dakota giving off a code 27. Replaced injectors. Have a scanner, but cannot find the plug for it. Looked under the dash driver side/middle, can't find it. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

'94 would be an OBD I, not OBD II. OBD I connectors were usally located under the hood near drivers inner fender.

Have you tried the key dance to retrieve codes?? Key off/on, off/on, off/on within 5 seconds. Your chec engine light should flash ( example= flash, pause flash flash means codes 12)

Yes, OBD1. and I have tried the keyon/off to retrieve code 27. I am trying to use a scanner to narrow that code down being that it is not the injectors or any of the dozen things we have changed.
EGR
fuel pump assemb
Common splice
New distrib
New Battery
New Injectors
Relays
Coil
Connector @ fuel pump assembly.

I will look @ that spot and get back, thanks

Code 27 = Injector control circuit.

A scan tool is going to tell you the same thing. Sadly, OBD I scan tools don't have the diagnostic capabilities of the newer OBD II. I believe all it can do is read codes, which you already have.

I'm not 100% sure. Haven't worked on a OBD I vehicle in quite some time. I just remember most of the plugs being in that general vicinity.

Someone else posted this in another thread:

The plug is to the left corner of the firewall and fender. It is square with a notch cut out.
That was for a '92. Not sure if it would be the same or not.

If it's saying Injector control circuit, it would have to be the harness going to the injectors from the computer. That or the computer itself..

The OBDI connector is in the passenger side corner of the firewall and fender, it is just dangling not bolted down or anything, for Dodge trucks it is late 80's to 95.
Some OBD1 code readers are able to show more details the just the code. Like for the 27 code it will be able to tell you which cylinder number.

Have you erased the codes?

The larger plug is the OBD1 connector. Sometimes its more on the fire wall side vs the fender.
