Alright, so

swapped out connectors with used ones (tried 4), still read 15.. the other injectors read 27 - Swapped out injectors same issue...
so, thinking its the connection at the computer module itself..

Could it also be that the computer is not getting sufficient enough power to distribute 27 evenly throughout the 8 injectors?

Could be the PCM connector or the wiring or the splice.

I was also thinking the pcm connector, anywhere to buy online or is it a junkyard item only?

From looking at the wiring diagram for the pcm (all injectors), it looks like there is a splice which grounds them together, where would this splice be located?

The injectors are spliced but on the positive side. The ground/negative is supplied to each injector by the PCM. The splice on the injectors are along the wiring pretty much next to the injectors. The service manual shows the splice locations. The PCM connector would be an junkyard only item.

Get a meter and get some reading before you start tearing and cutting your harness apart.

Okay. I do have illustration of the pinout diagram for the PCM harness, wouldn't touch it if I didn't have it

I'll do more research on the location, thanks for letting me know about the splice. So in theory, the PCM uses the individual Negative injector wires to either cut off or apply a ground to create the circuit?? or did I misread ?

Thanks for responding, you've been real helpful

oh, and I was told by a mechanic that the injectors should all be around 15 ohms, not 27... I looked in the general FAQ's and could not find any specs for the ohm output

The service manual in the FAQ is downloadable. That will have the exact specs.

Problem solved.
Turns out the Computer needed more time to learn. The stage of relearning the timing/injectors etc could only be activated when traveling 50 mph. It took a little bit but now its running top notch. The engine light is now off and the automatic shifting has improved to perfection. After 50 key starts, the computer should be 100%. Thanks for all the help, hope someone finds this information useful.

also, the injector wiring has been fixed. Wired green/orange to the generator splice and the other to the PCM. turns out the generator supplies 8 volts to the injector, -the 8 volts I was missing (or ohms, not too electrical savvy). All injectors read 23-25, where they should be - at least with these new ones and according to the PCM itself.
