Default 95 dakota with dead miss ..

I have a 95 dakota with 5.2 . Upon leaving a friends house today , I started to speed up and noticed a dead miss , if you slow down it pretty much disappears , but if you push the gas all the way down , it will start pulling despite the miss but then it will mildly backfire a time or two ... , all plug wires are on and not burnt in two , no check engine light on or anything...

Ideas , suggestions ?

Bad spark plug wires, bad spark plugs, bad distributor cap or rotor. Bad fuel injectors, bad wires, loose or worn conenctors. Low fuel pressure. Tons of possibilities.

Odd thing is , if you put it in neautral and rev it up , there is no miss at all... I wonder if that means a new fuel pump...

Sounds like a spark issue to me

sounds like it needs a tune up. my 93 did that off and on till it got so bad that i couldn't drive past 25mph. did a tune up and it was back to normal.
