I had a Jeep Cherokee that done this same thing. Would run fin until you put it under a load. Even had the intermittent lost of cam or crank sensor code.would idle fine and every now and then it would cut off at idle. After replacing all sensors and a new pcm it ended up being bad plugs. So try doing a tune-up if it hasnt been done in awhile if it has then try changing the plugs. Its cheap andit may just fix it.

im goin to take it in to my mechanic, even though it will cost a bit for diag time i will have someone who has the tools to check. I replqaced the plugs and stuff like that about 2 years ago. All of this started while driving around 35mph (thought i should mention that too)

I realize this is a pretty old thread, but did you ever figure out what the problem was? I'm having the same problem and I'm looking for answers.

EGR valve, if the passages are plugged or the valve is defected may cause these problems, my 89 did.
remove the EGR valve and see if there plugged with carbon, if there not then check the valve with a vaccuum tester.

Mine's a 95-96 3.9 but here's the solution/problem that I found. The middle connector (B) on the PCM that drives all the injectors, was loose, or needed some pressure on the connector. All I did was tape a folded up piece of paper to the inside of the connector to keep pressure on the connector and it seems to be working nicely.

Try wiggling the connector with the truck running, but be careful to not disconnect it. When I tried this the motor would start to die.

never heard of the 1st thing that you list for Code 11, always heard of it related to dist reference signal. or before 1st time of engine being started after battery unhooked. Code 11 other than before that 1st start after battery disconnect is usually a crank sensor or dist pick up that's what I got when the crank sensor died on my 97 1500's 318 may be an intermittent issue there (shorts out when heats up for instance)
