So I know this is a really old thread, but I just bought a 93 dakota and it came with this bar. I was wondering if anyone knew where to plug it in. I have the wires coming out of the bottom of the bar from the lights, but can't figure out where to plug it in. I looked through my Haynes book, but it just shows how to remove the bar
I don't think there's any wiring harness to plug into, but I have been wrong before. Personally, I'd just bolt the ground wire to the frame, run the positive in to the cab somehow, add a switch and a fuse coming off the fuse block and problem solved. Extra wire and a switch should be under $15 easily and wouldn't take more than an hour if you know how to crimp wires together. Soldering is better IMO.

Yeah thats kinda what I was thinking. There's no switch or anything inside so wasn't sure if they were hooked to the headlights. Guess I got a project for the weekend. Thanks for your help TragicTemper
