got balancer off..basically fell off in comparison to when I did the Honda I had- that was a biatch ! know u can tell timing chain is due? haven't pulled cover yet, waiting for gaskets to arrive..

how do u get the new crank seal into the timing cover?

Knock it out with a hammer and punch, then either use a seal installer to pound the new one in or with some practice or skill you can just use a hammer to tap it in.

I am going slightly mad lol ...trying install the cover...same bolt won't go in ( left side beneath the water outlet) went through 2 timing cover gaskets.. then tried w/o cover thinking threads were screwed...fine.. then tried orginal cover, fits perfect.. aftermarket for you! was an aftermarket cover - mine is corroded around the water outlets, ( on gasket surface and on outside)my reasoning for replacing.. my friend told to just jb weld it and file down...
