tires for 1993 dakota LE 4x4
i was wondering whats the biggest size of tires i can get without getting a lift ive read that i can get 31x10.5x15 but ive also heard i can fit 32's also will i need to change gears and will the tires effect my speedo that much?

Of course, if you aren't afraid of taking the sawzall/disc grinder to your body, you can fit pretty much anything.
There are a bunch of inexpensive ways to lift your truck a few inches to fit bigger tires, check out FAQ2 to get some ideas.
Also, you shouldn't have to re-gear anything until you hit 35+ (maybe someone will correct me on this).
33's on my truck put my speedo off by 5mph (says I'm going slower than I really am).

i seen that but ive read other places that people have fit 31'' and 32'' on stock which doesnt make sense with the FAQ2 i was wondering if there were anybody here that have actually put 31 or 32 on stock here
If you want to test it, take a tape measure and measure your wheels. You probably have 28s or so. If you're testing for 31s, that's a 3" difference, or 1.5" on each side. Measure out 1.5" from your tire and see if you'll be rubbing the body.
If you max out your stock torsion keys and don't mind rubbing on bumps (tires for looks more than effective use), then there is a decent chance you can fit them.
I'd really consider a lift though. $100-120 for a 2" body lift kit (or $60~ for a 2" puck lift) and $200~ for a 2" torsion key/add-a-leaf lift really gives you some room. I fit 33s with a 4" lift, but still had to cut fenders to give me proper up-travel room. Still, 4" of lift for about $300 isn't bad.
