Guys i'm new here.i have a 1987 dakota with a 3.9.when i got the truck it had been sittin up for 7yrs. the rats had helped me out on the wiring.my question is. i had rewired the truck and the carb was flooding.so i pulled it apart and checked.but didn't see anything wrong. it has the fuel mixture valve in it. thought about adapting another carb. to not have to mess with it.just trying to make it run just to move it around.eventually gonna put a 318 or 360 in it.i would appreciate the help.

 

I wish I knew but I personally HATE carbs, they are always touchy like that. Hopefully a BUMP to your thread will help.
