Stripped out caliper bolt hole...help!

The overside caliper bolt work great for me. Take your time use WD-40 and back off ever step or so to keep the bolt from over working while cutting the new threads.

Did it start cutting in right away for you?

I already double checked that because it was the only reason i could think of that was making it not go in

You'd be amazed how easy this would be if you rethread the hole with a tap that is the same size as the new bolt. It might even work to rethread it to the original size if the hole isn't bored out too bad.

Just got home from Napa turns out I was right they gave me the wrong one so I'm going out to fix it now.

Well it was to far gone for the oversize bolt....I hate this truck more everytime I have to work on it.
So I'm thinking it could be drilled and tapped to m10 x 1.25? the problem is finding a bolt for it

They sell a specific heli coil kit for this...

Just seems a lot easier to tap it and use a bolt. It'll be stronger and save me $35 over the heli coil kit.
