v6 headers needed
OK I need v6 headers or my 1993 Dakota but they seem to be rediculisly priced and I don't want to spend that high of a price is there any like tips or tricks to get around the price the junkyards around me don't have any would a v8 one worn or is it just bigger do any other trucks or cars use the same thing? Let me know! Please!!! Thanks

The 3.9 is the same as the 318 block, just has 2 cylinders cut off the back. using the headers like that i'm not sure would work properly. If you need headers for that boat anchor you must be doing something to where you will need custom work done anyway. No cheap way about it for that motor.

A guy on eBay called Merchantsellers used to have them for a decent price, only problem is they lacked the EGR port for '92-95 engines so if you fall in that year good luck passing emissions (which is the only reason I didn't buy them). You have a '93 so you already have the better exhaust manifolds which should be fine for most anything with a 3.9.

my headers which are on ebay for 125
the v6 headers:
thats like 359 bux. i dont even know if thats one side or both sides either but they definitely aren't interchangeable. idk why there is such a huge price difference in between 'em either. if i see any at my pull apart ill give u a heads up

V8 headers will not work on the v6. The v8 headers are the same configuration on both sides, 1,2,1, while the v6 is 2,1 on one side and 1,2 on the other.
and i heard the v6 was a v8 with the front two pistons left out. either way both blocks are machined slightly differently. they've still got a front and a back to put on them....
