i dont think a v6 is just a truncated v8, they are shaped a bit different too so i doubt the headers for a v8 would work and i got em if u got a pic to help me compare them too. what price where u gettin headers at at lowest?

The 3.9 is the same as the 318 block, just has 2 cylinders cut off the back. using the headers like that i'm not sure would work properly. If you need headers for that boat anchor you must be doing something to where you will need custom work done anyway. No cheap way about it for that motor.

A guy on eBay called Merchantsellers used to have them for a decent price, only problem is they lacked the EGR port for '92-95 engines so if you fall in that year good luck passing emissions (which is the only reason I didn't buy them). You have a '93 so you already have the better exhaust manifolds which should be fine for most anything with a 3.9.

OK well I don't have the v8 headers cuz I didn't want to pay untill I know if it would work but the cheapest 3.9 headers I found were just under 500 bucks and I'm nit doing a swap because I want to keep my motor so yeah and I have a 93 and I have to do emissions so yeah

The reason the v6 headers are so much more is because of supply and demand. There are alot more people buying v8 headers then people buying v6 headers s there for the v6 headers are going to cost more.

V8 headers will not work on the v6. The v8 headers are the same configuration on both sides, 1,2,1, while the v6 is 2,1 on one side and 1,2 on the other.
and i heard the v6 was a v8 with the front two pistons left out. either way both blocks are machined slightly differently. they've still got a front and a back to put on them....
