the funny thing is all my tail light threads on the other sides feature me asking if i can get the tail lights off a GMC or a Chevy s10.. I just thought it might be pushing it here though.

The s10 has always been my best bet on it.

I don't mind, but personally I am going to stick with the Mopar tail lights.

I would post a photo I just don't know how I'm on my iPhone. They are off of an older ram pre 94 and are identical aside from the plastic trim around the light. The ones I have on are chrome but are an 1/8th or so of an inch to big so the tailgate hits. You can trim it or just loosen the two screws I personally loosened them. It's a direct fit nothing really changed, I don't know if there is custom taillights for these years I just have stock

google how to use the iphone or just get some other phone or webcam. but basically your using some ram lights from circa 1990 and as long as u dont put in the screws closer to the tail gait the tail gait opens just fine? or is the tail gate always hitting up against it putting pressure on the two screws left in? I'm not trying to tair up or lose the euro lights as soon as i get 'em either, they arent cheap.

Yes taillights from circa 1990, so there is four screws I put them all in to hold the place positioned the taillight so it didn't hit and I thigh trend the **** out of the far side screws the put the other ones only about half because if you fully tighten it pulls the light over getting in the way. It does not hit at all the way I have it. They look normal I can't tell the difference aside from the trim being a little larger. And remember custom lights are always different they are never the same as original that could be bigger or smaller.
