Thats because you ran second gen 15" wheels, the 16" and up don't have that problem, so lucky for him "JR318" won't have to worry about that brake clearance issue.

 

Yeah, I was used to playing with S10's where everything fits 2nd to 1st gen so long as you keep it 2/4WD. I never thought to research that for the Dakotas. If nothing else I have enough back tires for one truck for 80-100K.
