Default Making a junkyard run

Now that Coca-Cola has so kindly given me my back-pay that it has owed me for a month now, I can finally go to the yard and get parts.

What I Need - Core Support. the yard has 2 96's, 2 95's, a 92 and a 91.

Will the radiator support out of all of those interchange to my 93?

Will also be getting full headlight, grill, bumper, and lower air dam.

Will be looking for the overhead console and gauge cluster in the later ones, and an engine harness if I'm lucky.

Anything else I need besides half a toolbox?

On an Unrelated note - getting a low fuel symptom of popcorn machine backfiring and surging after it's warmed up. Didn't start till about a week after I replaced the O@ Sensor, could I have gotten a junk sensor?

Yes the rad support will work. I think 93-96 all share the same. But be sure to take simple tools such as Phillips, straight, pliers, wire cutters, common sockets, extension, ratchet etc.

well I'm going for a $150 spending limit there so hopefully won't be too expensive. Little 20 buck things add up quick

Well my junkyard run was pretty fantastic.

Class 3 Reese TowPower hitch for $27 (goes for around 200 online) with all the mounting hardware and already adjusted for a 95 Dakota frame!

"Like New" core support from a 92' for $30, and by like new I mean this thing literally doesn't have a single scratch or dent on it. it's mint from factory.

full set of 95' Gauges, like new needles in them yet but they are the electric plug in types so pretty much just got them for the needles for a grand total of $12

Got the gauge face plate and wood-grain dash surround so when I put in switches for fog lights and the like I don;t have to cut up my perfect condition Stock one, $15

Snorkel hose and body part, no lid, going to do the twin inlet snorkel mod like AZ360 did, $12

95' Grill that actually says DODGE on it, needs to be repainted so I just went out and got the right paint to make it look like new. $22 including the paint I just got.

My mechanics box discount included 7 of the chromed bumper bolts, 2 92' V8 5.2 MP EFI badges for the fenders, and finally 1 Torsion bar bracket, will grab 3 more in 2 weeks on my next run.

Sadly I could not find headlight buckets or decent drivers side headlight housing, or the top end of a year matching 318, all the vans that had them have vanished (crushed most likely)

Give me 3 hours and up go all the pics of my loot from today.

Lol thanks man yea that thing and the core support are definetly my best finds today, I had also found a MINT front and rear bumper but didn't have the time to get the rear, and the front had a locked up bolt on it so atleast I know the bumper isn't going anywhere lol. The grill I got has a spot knocked out of it already, nothing bad just a little fin snap maybe half an inch long, luckily for me though, it's in the exact spot I want to knock out all of it anyway to put in fog lights in the grill, still need to find the 95', 96' style valence for the front with the fog light holes in it.

Also while I as there, had a guy with an identical truck to mine, grabbing parts off the truck right next to the one I was pulling the hitch off of, asked him how his truck was and pointed out alot of the common issues that he had and how to resolve them, even cutting a harness open and showing him the notorious splice! Didn't let him leave without a notecard with our forum info on it though!
