I can't answer the question, because my trans mount is shot and the driveshaft hits the parking brake cable.

You can figure it out yourself by taking a bottle jack and lifting the transmission until the driveshaft clears the parking brake cable by an inch or so.

Are you using rubber or poly for the new mount? I'm not sure how strong these transmissions are, but in general bad motor mounts and a poly or solid transmission mount can leave you with with a cracked transmission case.

i had half of the mount that came with the transmission, which is rubber as well as the rubber bushings from where the old trans mount bolted to the crossmember. its almost 3" of the crossmember and i don't have the driveshafts in due to replacing the u-joints.
