Default Interchangeable years?

I have a 1994 dakota, what years are interchangeable for parts? Mine is a 4x4. For parts I'm looking for a new dash cluster with a tach (I'm sick of the huge gas gage) a rad, steering knuckle, bumpers some little odds and ends in the interior.. Do the hub assembly's from the older first gens fit on the new ones thus changing the bolt pattern to a more commonly used 5 bolt?

1987-1996 are all interchangeable. I myself even thou mine is 2wd I changed the hubs so they are now 5 on 4.5 instead of 6 on 4.5. 1987-1990 had the 5 lug and 1991-1996 all had 6 lug wheels.

That might be the best news I've heard in a while! So the steering knuckle out of an 87-90 would fit onto my truck?

yes that should all be the same. The only differences between the 1987-1990 and the 1991-1996 is the front end sheet metal and the motors as the 1991-1996 are all multi port fuel injected and the 1987-1990 are throttle body fuel.

One more thing.. I have some 31x10.5 r15 tires would the fit on a 15x6 rim or is that width to small? They were on the next generation rims but with back spacing issue I can't use them.

Okay! I just wasn't sure if six was too small and would create a weak bead. Is there a general rule of thumb of how small you can go
